Summer is here

Wow, so we have had a great first week out of school! I love having them all home with me :) Thursday the 27th of May was the last day of school and I decided that this summer was not going to go to waste. Jaxon received a calendar from school associated with the library for the summer reading program. Almost every day has an activity for you to do with your kiddos. So Friday we made puppets of the boys they are on popsicle sticks and have magnets on the back so when we are not using them they go on the fridge. Saturday we unloaded the tote full of GEO TRAX train sets and built a track including two towns. Sunday and Monday were spent doing Memorial Day celebrations with extended family and ended with a cook out in our backyard. Tuesday was the first day of the library calendar and it said to go sign up for the summer reading program, so we headed down signed up and checked out some new books. Wed. was make a pirate map of your backyard, the boys really enjoyed this and then wanted to go outside to follow their maps around the yard. Thurs. was make cookies. Since the theme is Make a splash, we decided to make under the sea cookies. We just made them round, frosted them blue and decorated them with swedish fish candy, Yummy! Today, Fri. was supposed to be a day of playing in the sprinkler, but the weather did not agree so hopefully we can make that one up. Who doesn't want to run through a sprinkler on a hot summer day!? Now we just need a hot summer day :) Well I gotta run and put my babies to bed, until next time.

Big G. aka Grant had a wonderful birthday. It snowed all night the night before so I just had to let the boys get all dressed up in their snow clothes and play :) I am sure that this will not be a common thing for him on his birthday so we had to take advantage. We watched Finding Nemo which is one of his favorites, eating popcorn, playing the wii, and then we went to Big J's for dinner with Ryan's parents. After that we came home opened presents and had cake and ice cream. All and all a very enjoyable day for all of us :)

I am also posting some pics from Easter. This was Cannon's first Easter. I can't believe how time flies. He will be one in June and I just know that it will be here before I know it. I'm a little bummed about the weather during Spring Break, Hopefully it dries out a little and we can really enjoy being out side. I bought some seeds to plant. We will see how well it goes, I don't have the greenest thumb. I'll let you know how it all turns out. Until next time, hope all is well

So it has been way to long since I last posted. Not that anyone really reads this but me. So since the last time I have written Ryan has gone back to work after being off work for a year having two back surgeries, we have moved ( the bank foreclosed on us due to our situation), the holidays, and our van's transmission just puked. We have many things that keep us busy, but do not get us down. Please do not think that I am complaining, that is not what I am trying to do. It just feels good to write it down and get it off my chest.

I can't imagine my life being more blessed with the things that I need than right now. The Lord has given us comfort and through our dear family and friends has blessed us beyond our needs. For this I am truly grateful to all who have been willing to serve my family. It has been an honor to receive these blessings.

Listening to conference I have strengthened my resolutions to be the woman I know I should be. Yet another blessing in our lives. How blessed we are to have a living prophet to guide us :) Grant's birthday to tomorrow so I will try to get pics on and fast as I can, plus the boys are on Spring Break so we are just parting and enjoying one another. Hopefully they don't drive to crazy before they go back and i know that once they do I will miss them like crazy :)

Wow, November is already here. I hope that you all had a spooky Halloween! Ours was pretty fun. I got to take the boys around while Ryan stayed home and handed out candy. The kids totally got loaded! When they were done we came home and snuggled up on our bed and watched a Winnie the Pooh Halloween movie, it was the perfect ending.

On Sunday, November 1st, we blessed Cannon. Ryan gave him a beautiful blessing. How grateful I am that he lives in such a manner to respect and desire to have the priesthood. Our family is truly blessed for this. It was great to have family over to our home afterwards. Thanks for all the love and support:) Well chat at ya later!

So many things have happened since our last posting. Jaxon is in the swing of things with school. He loves to read! Carter is in pre-school and loving it. On Tuesdays he has computer time, this is his favorite. Grant is two and a terrible tease. He has the most infectious laugh and loves to help with Cannon. Cannon is four months old now and seems like he is growing like a weed! As for Ryan and I, 24/7 just isn't enough with each other! Ha ha. We are truly blessed to have this time together as a family. I don't know what the boys will do when their father goes back to work some day.

Ryan's back surgery went well according to the Dr. But it will be a long time before we see all the benefits from having the surgery. Please just remember Ryan in your prayers that he may have a speedy recovery( for all our sakes, ha ha).

Halloween is coming up and the boys are very excited! We just carved pumpkins last night and the boys each had one of their own. Needless to say we had a little bit of a mess and the pumkins turned out great!

Well it is time for bed and I have four beautiful boys to tackle into the bath tub so until next time, love ya all!

Hi, this is all new to me. I'm not all that good with a computer but I thought I better get with the program. Just a little back ground, Ryan and I have been married for almost 10 years! We will celebrate our 10th on September 16th. We have four beautiful boys and their names are Jaxon, Carter, Grant, and Cannon. Cannon just joined the crowd in June. Our life stays pretty busy with these guys and we love it!

I'm excited to stay connected to those I love through this blog, so start talking.
